The wheel isn’t a piece of equipment that you operate. It responds to you. We’ll start with our first contact and work our way through: movement in space, rolling, turns, manipulations. Much of this will be done in pairs, because the wheel makes more sense when worked with in partnership.
No previous experience is required. Those who have already stood in the wheel will find their own centre of gravity.

In her bachelor’s thesis, Sigrid Grün examines the Pepe Dome in Munich as a transformative space for a design thinking workshop with teachers on the topic of health. The article demonstrates how unfamiliar spaces can facilitate a shift in perspective, creativity and honest reflection – beyond institutional routines.

Training at the Pepe Dome
A regular programme of classes has been running at the Pepe Dome since May. Seven disciplines, six teams of trainers. We asked three people who come here regularly why they do so.
