A regular programme of classes has been running at the Pepe Dome since May. Seven disciplines, six teams of trainers. We asked three people who come here regularly why they do so.

A regular programme of classes has been running at the Pepe Dome since May 2026. Six teams of trainers, seven disciplines, ranging from capoeira to aerial acrobatics and flow arts — Monday to Sunday under the geodesic dome at the Theatron Ostpark.

Programme overview

Monday · Circus Dome Lab with the Leopoldini coaches (ages 11–15, 10-week course from 11 May to 13 July, €140 in total) + aerial acrobatics for teenagers with Aircrobatics
Tuesday · Capoeira with Dayela: children (aged 3–6) and adults; taster sessions on 12 May, followed by a four-session course on the subsequent Tuesdays
Wednesday · Children’s acrobatics with Michael Heiduk (ages 5–12) + aerial acrobatics with Aircrobatics
Thursday · Tricking & Breaking with Marcel (teens, young adults)
Friday · Urban Acrobatics with Dani: Breaking meets acrobatics
Sunday · Flow Arts with Tina & Oskar from Feuerinsel München: Buugeng, double sticks, Levistick, Rope Dart

Chaotic, beautiful and full of friendly people who get creative together.” Munich needs more modern circus for young adults and adults — there’s plenty on offer for children’s circus, but still too little for everyone else.

Get involved

Bookings are made via Eversports directly on the training page. Aircrobatics courses are booked separately through Aircrobatic Studios. The taster sessions for Capoeira (12 May) and Flow Arts (Sunday sessions – click on the relevant course for dates) are non-binding — just pop along with non-slip socks or trainers and something to drink.

Koraĵo and Pepe Event

Together with the circus and artists’ collective PEPE, we invite you to a little parallel world somewhere between circus, electronic music, light art and lovingly homemade madness. And because you don’t have to wait until sunset for a proper adventure, things kick off at midday 🌞 Outside in the amphitheatre, a playground for young and old – and everyone in between – is being conjured up from scratch. There’s action here for the whole family! There’ll be juggling, balancing, painting, glitter, wonder and experimentation. Giant soap bubbles will float across the grounds, clowns will be up to their usual antics, and anyone who’s ever wanted to get a taste of the circus will have the chance to do so. 🎪 For the more flexible among you, there’s also a yoga workshop. To round it all off, there’ll be electronic sounds ranging from downtempo to danceable beats, a bar for those who’ve worked up a thirst, and cosy corners to catch your breath. And right in the middle of it all is the Pepe Dome – our box of wonders, which comes to life with lights and a dash of Koraĵo décor. ✨🛸 We’ll see where the circus ends and the dance floor begins. Perhaps we’ll find out together with you! As always: look out for one another, respect your own boundaries and those of others. Our Awareness Team will be there for you. 💛 Entry is free! Open Stage

At our Open Stage, the stage belongs to various artists and their current work. The programme features fully-fledged acts, new routines, excerpts from works in progress and experiments that may be performed in front of an audience for the very first time. That is precisely what makes the evening so special: you never quite know in advance what’s going to happen. Different disciplines, styles and personalities come together – spontaneously, surprisingly and with no great distance between the stage and the audience. The Open Stage is a meeting place for the circus community and for anyone curious about contemporary circus. Not a run-of-the-mill evening, but a snapshot of what’s currently inspiring the performers and what they’re working on. Come along, discover new talent and experience an evening that won’t be repeated.

‘Samhain Circus’ freak show

The Pepe Dome is transformed into a circus ring that blends elements of a circus, a freak show and a dark funfair atmosphere. Extraordinary acrobatics meet bizarre characters, surprising visuals and moments where you’re not always immediately sure whether to be amazed, laugh or perhaps turn away. ‘Samhain Circus’ plays on the unique atmosphere of Halloween: mysterious, wild and with a touch of humour. This isn’t a traditional horror show, but an unusual circus afternoon full of movement, excitement and surprises. What exactly can you expect? We’re not giving that away just yet. Suffice to say: on this day, some things at the Dome are not quite what they seem at first glance. Come along and experience Halloween under the dome.
