Sit down, take a deep breath, and yet still find no peace. Wars, climate change, the shift to the right, social division, inflation… and then there’s that damned chair, too.

Nothing feels the same as it used to. No stability. Just this creeping feeling that control is slipping away – that your own life is slipping through your fingers like sand. ‘Entglitten’ captures this feeling – and transforms it into an evening full of humour, artistry and surprising lightness.

With one of the simplest everyday objects at its heart: the chair.

But this chair is different. It resists, disappears, reappears, contradicts, wobbles, plays along – and, through elaborately produced animations and mysterious tricks, becomes a living counterpart, an adversary, a mirror.
