Koraĵo and Pepe Event
Somewhere between a circus, electronic music, light art and lovingly homemade madness
Together with the circus and artists’ collective PEPE, we invite you to a little parallel world somewhere between circus, electronic music, light art and lovingly homemade madness.
And because you don’t have to wait until sunset for a proper adventure, things kick off at midday 🌞
Outside in the amphitheatre, a playground for young and old – and everyone in between – is being conjured up from scratch.
There’s action here for the whole family!
There’ll be juggling, balancing, painting, glitter, wonder and experimentation. Giant soap bubbles will float across the grounds, clowns will be up to their usual antics, and anyone who’s ever wanted to get a taste of the circus will have the chance to do so. 🎪 For the more flexible among you, there’s also a yoga workshop.
To round it all off, there’ll be electronic sounds ranging from downtempo to danceable beats, a bar for those who’ve worked up a thirst, and cosy corners to catch your breath.
And right in the middle of it all is the Pepe Dome – our box of wonders, which comes to life with lights and a dash of Koraĵo décor. ✨🛸
We’ll see where the circus ends and the dance floor begins.
Perhaps we’ll find out together with you!
As always: look out for one another, respect your own boundaries and those of others. Our Awareness Team will be there for you. 💛
Entry is free! Anyone who’d like to support us and the project is welcome to pop something into the donation pot. 💫
We’ll be revealing bit by bit exactly what we’ve got in store for you, both musically and artistically.
We’re already absolutely hyped and can’t wait any longer.
Come curious.

Stand-up comedy – UNDER THE PEPE DOME
On Saturday 28 November 2026, Steh Auf Comedy is heading to one of Munich’s most extraordinary cultural venues for a very special evening: the Pepe Dome in Ostpark. This will be the first time a stand-up comedy show has been held at the Pepe Dome – and to mark the occasion, we’re bringing five top comedians from Munich’s comedy scene onto the stage. No traditional club show, no ordinary venue: The Pepe Dome is a geodesic dome in the heart of Munich’s Ostpark and is actually best known as a venue for contemporary circus, acrobatics, performances and unusual cultural events. The dome can accommodate around 200 people – close to the stage and right in the thick of the action. For one evening, it becomes a comedy club. Steh Auf Comedy – Under the Pepe Dome is a special edition of our mixed show: 5 performers, 1 unique venue and an evening packed with stand-up comedy. You can look forward to a mix of different comedy styles, fresh stories and selected sets from comedians who regularly perform on stages across Munich’s comedy scene. So if you’re looking for a comedy show in Munich, stand-up comedy in Munich or simply a special Saturday night out: this won’t be your usual Steh Auf Comedy show.

The Pepe Dome as a centre for scientific research
Can a circus tent change the way we think? In her bachelor’s thesis, Sigrid Grün examines the Pepe Dome in Munich as a transformative space for a design thinking workshop with teachers on the topic of health. The article demonstrates how unfamiliar spaces can facilitate a shift in perspective, creativity and honest reflection – beyond institutional routines.
Training at the Pepe Dome
A regular programme of classes has been running at the Pepe Dome since May. Seven disciplines, six teams of trainers. We asked three people who come here regularly why they do so.
