Which memories keep us together – and which friendships endure because they were formed early enough? ‘Tallarín con Banana’ tells the story of two neighbours growing up somewhere in South America in the 1980s and 1990s. A fictional yet deeply personal journey through childhood, adolescence and early adulthood – brought to life through music, dance, theatre and aerial acrobatics on the trapeze and in the aerial cradle. A production that oscillates between the intimate and the universal: between the children’s bedroom and history, between private play and collective experience. The Chilean-Argentine company Tallarín con Banana developed the piece in collaboration with the actor and director Severo Callaci. The starting point was the performers’ own life stories – from these memories grew images, from the images scenes, and from the scenes a unique poetic universe. The work premiered in spring 2021 in Rosario, Argentina; and since then it has moved audiences far beyond the borders of South America. An artful blend of movement, language and acrobatic physicality that celebrates the power of human connections – and reminds us that identity is not written by ourselves, but by the people who accompany us.

The circus performer
Once the final curtain has fallen, the evening really gets going. After the applause, an open stage full of surprises awaits: look forward to aerial and floor acrobatics, poetry, live music and many more creative performances. A colourful evening filled with special moments, new encounters and plenty of variety. Afterwards, we invite you to round off the evening in a cosy atmosphere by the campfire, with cool drinks, a great atmosphere and time to sit and chat together.

Slipped
Sit down, take a deep breath, and yet still find no peace. Wars, climate change, the shift to the right, social division, inflation… and then there’s that damned chair, too. Nothing feels the same as it used to. No sense of stability. Just this creeping feeling that control is slipping away – that your own life is slipping through your fingers like sand. ‘Entglitten’ captures this feeling – and transforms it into an evening full of humour, artistry and surprising lightness. With one of the simplest everyday objects at its heart: the chair. But this chair is different. It resists, disappears, reappears, contradicts, wobbles, plays along – and, through elaborately produced animations and mysterious tricks, becomes a living counterpart, an adversary, a mirror. Slapstick meets moments of magic. Surprising acrobatics set against poetic imagery. An enchanting evening of theatre unfolds – tragicomic, intense, light-hearted and yet moving – telling of the loss of hope… and of how to find it again. A moving, humorous journey about falling down, getting back up and carrying on.
