Open Stage
New ideas, spectacular acts and acrobatics right up close.
At our Open Stage, the stage belongs to various artists and their current work. The programme features fully-fledged acts, new routines, excerpts from works in progress and experiments that may be performed in front of an audience for the very first time.
That is precisely what makes the evening so special: you never quite know in advance what’s going to happen. Different disciplines, styles and personalities come together – spontaneously, surprisingly and with no great distance between the stage and the audience.
The Open Stage is a meeting place for the circus community and for anyone curious about contemporary circus. Not a run-of-the-mill evening, but a snapshot of what’s currently inspiring the performers and what they’re working on.
Come along, discover new talent and experience an evening that won’t be repeated.

The article demonstrates how unfamiliar spaces can facilitate a shift in perspective, creativity and honest reflection – beyond institutional routines.

Training at the Pepe Dome
A regular programme of classes has been running at the Pepe Dome since May. Seven disciplines, six teams of trainers. We asked three people who come here regularly why they do so.
